Parker Palm Springs

The Parker Palm Springs has to be one of our all time favourite hotels – a modern take of the old fashioned American Dream! If you’re planning a trip to California we definitely recommend adding a stop here for some relaxed desert sun & outlet shopping. Everything from the retro interior decor to the customer service is truly impeccable. The white four poster beds, private balconies, green garden and hidden nooks makes it the perfect retreat for you & your loved one(s).

WHAT to do:

Sweat

Other than their fully equipped 24 hour gym, the hotel offers free yoga classes on weekends and has 4 tennis courts available. Tip I: Call the concierge to book your court time.

Swim

The hotel has three pools you can choose from, two of them are chlorine free and outdoors. The Gene Autry pool is their Adult only pool and is definitely our favorite – it’s open 24 hours!

Take a 30 minute drive to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets for a shop till you drop experience! They are open until 9pm everyday (except Sundays) and literally have every store you can think of – from Saint Laurent to Nike to Forever21. Tip II: Check their website to find out about offers and promotions.

WHERE to eat:

Obviously have breakfast at Norma’s. Famous for its comfort food, it’s tempting menu has something for everyone. Chocolate Decadence French toast for the indulgent, and Crunchy Pecan & Macademia Granola for the health conscious. It serves breakfast all day & trust us- the gorgeous patio setting will make you want to stay until dinner!

While working on your golden tan, swing by the Lemonade Stand for a refreshing drink to help beat the desert heat!

And if you’re craving a late midnight snack, take a walk to the fire pit where you can sit back, star gaze, and make your own S’mores. Really now, what more could you ask for?
